Technical Documentation and Product Marketing Intern — ModalAI

Background

As part of my technical documentation internship at ModalAI, I created a line of quickstart videos to get customers up and running with our products. My quickstart videos for ModalAI have gathered over 6000 views on the official ModalAI youtube. These videos included a mix of hardware and software guidance. These videos are all part of our product documentation over at docs.modalai.com.

What I learned

Shooting tutorial videos for ModalAI has been a lot of fun. Its been a great way to work with SME's and other members of the team, its been interesting to learn about the drone space and about different connector and battery standards, the different sensors and mapping tools involved in AI flight, and the other companies and software solutions that are critical to the dronespace and to our products. Over time, I have learned a lot about video editing and have slowly increased the production quality of my tutorial videos the more I create them.
